Leatherback Turtle

This was my class project for my sculpture class in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I very much enjoyed the class, and our stay in San Miguel, and published an article about the class. The turtle is built over an armature, with a sheet metal skin. It took me about three weeks to make it.
